June 25, 2005 The Internet radio Web site w3w3 wants to give military families a chance to send "video letters" to family members serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. By July 4, w3w3 plans to launch a new site - www.USFamilies.us- to allow U.S. troops abroad to watch streamed messages from family members back home. The folks at w3w3 will videotape family members - a spouse, children, parents, grandparents - and stream the footage over the site so troops abroad can have a look. While U.S. troops overseas may have limited access to telephone service, they usually have easier access to high-speed Internet service. For more information, visit www.w3w3.com or call w3w3 President Larry Nelson at 303-860-9393. Assistant Business Editor Jane Hoback and Deputy Business Editor Gil Rudawsky write about local business talk that doesn't necessarily end up in quarterly reports.
